I hope you’ve had a blessed week. As we journey together in faith, I want to take a moment to reflect on a vital calling we all share—to be living expressions of the gospel of Jesus. The gospel is not just a message we proclaim with words, but a life we embody through our actions, choices, and attitudes. In a world that is often sceptical of religion, the most compelling evidence of Christ’s power is not found in argument, but in a transformed life.

So, how can we be an expression of Jesus? We reflect Jesus when we love unconditionally, forgive generously, serve humbly, and walk faithfully—even when it’s inconvenient or uncomfortable. Paul reminds us in 2 Corinthians 3:2-3, “You yourselves are our letter, written on our hearts, known and read by everyone. You show that you are a letter from Christ…written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God.” You and I are the gospel that people around us are reading every day.

Let me share a simple illustration. A young woman shared how she came to Christ not because of a powerful sermon, but because of a co-worker who consistently showed her kindness, listened to her without judgment, and offered to pray with her during a difficult season. That co-worker never preached, but her life was a living sermon. The peace and compassion she carried made the message of Jesus real and tangible. Each of us has similar opportunities. Perhaps it’s the way we treat a store clerk, how we respond to someone in traffic, or the way we care for a hurting friend. When the gospel is at work in us, the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness—will naturally begin to flow through us.

So, I encourage you this coming week: ask God to help you be a visible expression of His grace to someone. Let your life be a light that draws others closer to Him.
