AN INVITATION TO JOIN US IN PRAYER EVERY MONDAY 9:30AM

Prayer is the glue that holds all of the pieces of life together. The Scriptures admonish us to “pray without ceasing.” This does not mean that we are to spend all of our time on our knees in formal prayer. It does mean that we are to live and serve our Lord in the atmosphere and attitude of prayer. Pr 3.1

Prayer is the channel of communication between our souls and God. God speaks to us through His word; we respond to Him through our prayers, and He always listens to us. We cannot weary or burden Him by our frequent heart to heart communications. Pr 3.2

We have come to serious times. Events in our world call upon every follower of Christ to be totally in earnest in our relationship with Him. To strengthen this relationship and satisfy our emotional and spiritual needs, we must learn the power of prayer. We must ask the Lord, like the disciples of old, saying, “Lord, teach us to pray.” Pr 3.3

The primary purpose of prayer is not to change circumstances; the primary purpose of prayer is to change us! But either way, the chief objective remains the same: to glorify God in any and every situation.

Through prayer, Bible study, and fellowship, the Park Ridge Church Prayer Ministry team's mission is to help people have a closer, stronger, and more intimate relationship with Christ and each other.  Jesus said, “Mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people…I will make them and the places round about My hill a blessing” (Isaiah 56:7; Ezekiel 34:26).

“Please pray for me” is an invitation into the depths of someone’s life and humanity.
When invited to pray for someone, our task is to wrap them in God’s love.
