I hope you’ve had a Spirit filled and blessed week. We are truly into 2023 and it’s great to see many of our church ministries in full stride. We pray for God’s leading and direction in all ministry-related endeavours this year. On that note, I would like to take this opportunity to inform and remind you all of certain activities and events coming soon.

This Saturday night, March 11th, we have our “team up to clean up” night. Everyone is invited to come for closing Sabbath starting at 6pm, followed by a light supper and then the task of doing a deep clean of our church. So, bring gloves, brooms, cloths, and any cleaning products to help out.

On March 24th, we invite all the youth (ages 18-30ish) to our Friday night dinner. Join us for opening Sabbath at 6.30pm, followed by dinner. Please bring a plate of food to share and a friend. Location: Pr. David’s house. Talk to David for address.

On the 25th of March we have our cake baking auction fundraiser. We are taking a building and worship team to our adopt-a-clinic ministry to PNG, and we would greatly appreciate your support. Join us for closing Sabbath at 5.45, then supper and the cake auction.

On the 15th of April our discipleship training—“Following the Master” —will commence. Keep an eye out for the QR code so you can register your spot. For those that journeyed with us through this training last year, I would encourage you to join us again, as you will notice a bit of a difference.

On April 29th we will have Ordinances. Please remember that we are back to “normal” with foot washing and the partaking of the emblems all happening at church. Let’s prepare our hearts for this special day.

From Friday the 5th to Saturday 6th of May we will have the privilege, as a church, to Host international speaker Herb Larson. Herb will commence with us on Friday night. Followed by the main service on Sabbath, combined lunch, and then Herb will end with a short presentation on Sabbath afternoon.

And finally, “Book the Pastor”. If you would like me to visit you and your family, you can make a booking via the Member Area in the Church Management System. I would dearly like to visit all and spend a couple of moments together. If you need assistance accessing the Church management system, please see Wendy Herbert in the foyer on Sabbath.

I hope that we can all support these events, build community, and share about Jesus.
