I hope you've had a great and blessed week and are looking forward to the weekend and the Sabbath rest.
As we journey together through our walk of faith, we sometimes find ourselves asking some all-important questions that help us further examine our beliefs and understanding of God's creation. One such question that we've been digging into lately is: what are the echoes of Eden and how does it connect to our modern-day life?
Echoes of Eden refers to the beauty and perfection that existed in the Garden of Eden before sin entered the world. This beauty is reflected in nature, relationships, creativity, and everything else that God created perfectly.
As we look around us, we can see the echoes of Eden everywhere the stunning vistas of mountains, the majesty of the ocean, the intricate designs of plants and animals, and the sheer wonder of life itself, all point to God's perfection. Even in the midst of chaos and confusion, we can find echoes of Eden in the reach of a helping hand, the warmth of a kind smile, and the compassion that people show each other.
So, what does this mean for us as we work to grow in our faith? It means that we are called to be caretakers of God's creation and to keep the echoes of Eden going. We are invited to honour and respect all living things and to recognize the presence of our Creator in everything around us.
Let's take some time this week to reflect on the echoes of Eden that we encounter in our lives and to give thanks for the beauty and perfection that still exists in our world today.
This Sabbath we start a new preaching series titled Echoes of Eden so please join us for the study of Gods word. I look forward to fellowshipping with you all on Sabbath.
