Happy New Year! It is my pleasure to serve you in 2024 and I hope we grow in Jesus together. As we bid farewell to the year gone by and welcome the dawn of a new beginning, it is a time for reflection, renewed hope, and heartfelt prayers. The start of a new year holds immense significance in our lives, as it symbolises a fresh start, a chance to grow, and an opportunity to embark on a mission for God's kingdom.

In this new year, let us prioritize prayer as we seek God's wisdom, guidance, and strength. Prayer is not only a means of communication with our Heavenly Father, but it also deepens our relationship with Him. It is through prayer that we can align our desires with God's will and receive His direction for our lives. As we enter into this new year, let our hearts be committed to spending intentional time in prayer, both individually and as a church family.

Furthermore, let us eagerly pursue spiritual growth in the coming year. As disciples of Christ, we are called to constantly grow in our faith, knowledge, and understanding of Him. Just as physical exercise strengthens our bodies, spiritual disciplines such as Bible study, meditation, and fellowship with other believers strengthen our spirits. May this year be marked by a hunger for God's Word, a thirst for spiritual wisdom, and a desire to become more like Christ in every aspect of our lives.

This new year, we also want to emphasize the importance of being missional. As a church, we are called to be the hands and feet of Jesus, bringing His love, hope, and salvation to a world in need. Let us have a missional focus as we serve our community, reach out to the lost, and make disciples of all nations. May the Holy Spirit guide and empower us as we live out our faith in practical and impactful ways.

Let us embrace this new year with a renewed zeal and passion for God. Let us commit ourselves to prayer, spiritual growth, and a missional focus. May the Holy Spirit lead us every step of the way, empowering us to make a difference in our families, communities, and beyond.

May the Lord bless you abundantly in this new year, and may it be filled with His presence, provision, and purpose.

Yours in Christ,
David Peñate
