This Sabbath marks a special moment in the life of our church family as we warmly welcome Pastor Greg Campling to our community. New beginnings are always meaningful—they give us the opportunity to pause, reflect on God’s faithfulness in the past, and look forward with hope to what He will do next. Today we celebrate not simply the arrival of a new pastor, but the beginning of a new chapter that God is writing with all of us together.
Throughout Scripture, we see that God often works through seasons of transition. He brings new leaders, fresh vision, and renewed energy to guide His people forward. And while leadership matters deeply, the mission has always belonged to the whole community. The church has never been built on one person alone, but on a family of believers serving side by side, each bringing their unique gifts, hearts, and experiences.
Pastor Greg joins us not as someone to carry the work alone, but as a partner in ministry, walking with us, praying with us, and serving alongside us. Together, we are a team called to reflect Christ’s love in our church, our neighbourhood, and beyond. Each of us has a part to play. Each of us matters. And together, God can do far more than any of us could do alone.
As we welcome Pastor Greg, may we also renew our own commitment to be a church that is open, supportive, and united, quick to encourage, disciple focused and ready to serve wherever God leads. Let’s surround him and his family with prayer, kindness, and friendship. Let’s serve eagerly while exploring how we can help, how we can grow, and how we can move forward together in mission.
The future is not something we step into with uncertainty, but with faith. The same God who has guided this church through every season before us is still leading today. And we trust that the best chapters are still ahead. We are grateful that God has led Pastor Greg to our church family. We look forward to serving, growing, and following Jesus together.
Have a lovely Sabbath!
God bless, Malin Andersen
